LB Light-Density Bare Swab
Light density bare swabs are manufactured from low density foam and coated with a polyurethane elastomer base layer. They are primarily used for pipeline drying and removal of loose debris. Additional applications include functioning as a gauging pig to check internal pipeline conditions before intensive pigging operations, serving as a sealing pig behind a stuck pig, supporting batching and product displacement, and operating in pipelines with lower flow rates and pressures.
Optional configurations include dual end coatings, bullet nose or double nose designs, pulling ropes or cables, transmitter or pinger cavities, jetting bypass ports, magnets, and custom diameters or lengths to suit specific pigging requirements. Standard light density foam is typically rated at approximately 1.2 lbs/ft³, with alternative light density options available upon request.
MB Medium Density Bare Pig
Medium density bare pigs are manufactured from medium density foam with a polyurethane elastomer base coating. They are commonly used for pipeline drying and removal of loose debris. Additional applications include serving as a gauging pig to assess internal pipeline conditions before more intensive pigging, acting as a sealing pig behind a stuck pig, supporting batching and product displacement, and operating in pipelines with lower flow rates and pressures.
Available options and configurations include double dish or double nose designs, pulling ropes or cables, transmitter or pinger cavities, jetting bypass ports, magnets, and custom diameters or lengths to suit specific pigging requirements.
HB Heavy-Density Bare Pig
Heavy density bare pigs are manufactured from high density foam and feature a polyurethane elastomer coating at the base. They are primarily used for pipeline drying and removal of loose debris. They can also function as a gauging pig to assess internal pipeline conditions before more intensive pigging, serve as a sealing pig behind a stuck pig, support batching and product displacement, and operate effectively in pipelines with lower flow rates and pressures.
Optional configurations include double dish or double nose designs, pulling ropes or cables, transmitter or pinger cavities, jetting bypass ports, magnets, and custom diameters or lengths to accommodate specific pigging requirements.
