The BGD-4 bidirectional displacement pig is constructed with a carbon steel body and fitted with four easily replaceable polyurethane discs. Models ranging from 2″ to 8″ use a center rod design, while sizes 10″ and above use a bolting pattern configuration. The pig can also be equipped with a gauging plate manufactured according to customer specifications.

Optional configurations include bodies made from carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, with discs made from neoprene, viton, EPDM, buna-N, or other elastomer materials for specialized operating conditions. Additional options include aluminum or steel gauging plates of varying thickness, transmitter or pinger cavities, magnets for debris detection, modified cup configurations for improved sealing performance, and custom dimensions for specific pipeline applications.
