Solid-Cast Utility Pigs

UFCP Cup Type

The UFCP solid cast pig is made from high grade abrasion and chemical resistant solid cast polyurethane material. It is designed to navigate tight radius bends and accommodate variations in nominal pipe internal diameters. The cup structure allows line pressure to press the sealing surface firmly against the pipe wall to maintain a positive seal.

This pig is commonly used for product removal, batching operations, hydrostatic testing, and the removal of paraffin, debris, or other pipeline buildup. Its lighter weight compared to steel mandrel pigs allows for longer and more efficient pigging runs. Optional configurations include cup or cup and disc designs, different hardness levels, transmitter or pinger housings, and magnets.

UFDCP

This pig is solid cast as a single piece and made from 100% polyurethane material. The front cup is designed to allow easier launching, even in low pressure systems, while the rear cup functions as the primary seal to drive the pig through the pipeline. Additional middle discs provide multiple sealing and contact points to enhance cleaning and scraping performance, helping to remove more residual fluid from the pipeline.

With multiple sealing surfaces and a moderate body length, this model is well suited for passing through pipeline fittings such as check valves, Y laterals, and tees. Its flexible design also allows it to navigate tight radius bends and minor pipeline irregularities.

UFDP Disc Type

The UFDP solid cast pig is manufactured from high grade abrasion and chemical resistant solid cast polyurethane material. It is designed to navigate tight radius bends and accommodate variations in nominal pipe diameters. The disc design allows pipeline pressure to press the sealing surface firmly against the pipe wall, ensuring a reliable seal during operation.
